An original knitting pattern for Fingerless Gloves from Bensonsrags designed by Ruth. This pattern is part of the Joanna Collection.
The diamond motif on the back of the hand is made from the lace element on the border of the Joanna Beanie. The gloves are loose fitting around the hand and the wrist. The fingers finish just below the knuckle. I like fingerless gloves because they allow you to type and do jobs, keeping your hands warm but your finger ends free.
They are knitted on 2 needles so if you have never knitted gloves before and don't like the idea of using 4 needles, these are a great first project.
You will need:
One pair of 4.0mm needles.
100g of Double Knitting yarn. The gloves shown on the pattern are knitted from a 100g hank of West Yorkshire Yarn Spinners Ecru DK Yarn. You can also purchase this yarn in different colours in 50g balls.
If you have a few spare balls of DK yarn left from another project, why not give the pattern a go.
All original patterns are supplied as downloads, that are available immediately upon purchase.
If you register with the website then the pattern can be subsequently downloaded again from the download area in the account.
