An original pattern for 2 different Bootee designs.
My girls always had cold feet and bootees are great for keeping small toes warm. They also help to keep socks on feet.
One pair is knitted in Moss stitch with a Picot edging ( which is easier than the name suggests)
The second pair has a lace pattern which naturally gives a curved top edge.
The Moss stitch pair are easier to knit than the lace pair, however they are a nice quick project.
They are both designed for a new baby up to 3 months depending on the size of their feet.
You will need one pair each of 4.0mm and 3.25mm needles.
1 x 50 g ball of Double knitting yarn. I've used West Yorkshire yarn Spinner Bluefaced Leicester Yarn which is lovely and soft.
One small length of matching or contrasting ribbon.
These make a great gift for a new arrival.
