I designed this as part of the Joanna collection to compliment the beanie and fingerless gloves.
The scarf is 42cms wide by 90 cms long with a slot to slip the end through to keep the scarf in position. I knitted the scarf is soft Blue Faced Leicester wool which snuggles round your neck. It feels really cosy.
The outer border is garter stitch with a lace panel at each end which matches the border of the lacy beanie. The centre panel is a lovely open work lace pattern.
You will need 150g of Double Knitting Wool.
The scarf is show in Ecru West Yorkshire Spinners DK Blue Faced Leicester Yarn which is supplied in 100g hanks. WYS Coloured Blue Faced Leicester Yarn is supplied in 50g balls.
One pair of 6.5mm Needles
This pattern is not for a beginner if you like to knit lacy patterns, it is enjoyable.
